Received certification as a dog trainer from Captain Haggerty’s School for Dogs – 1975

Founded Dog Training and Counseling Service 1975 which specializes in training and problem solving

Taught course “Understanding Dogs” at Syracuse University 1976

30 years experience training and consulting with over 5,000 dog owners and over 140 different breeds

Developed and trained apprentices as professional dog trainers

Competed in AKC obedience events and received national ranking in the Delaney System

Coached students to achieve AKC obedience titles

Trained security dogs for Sage Allen Department stores – 1984

Interviewed on numerous radio, TV, and newspapers including the New York Times

Speaker for dog clubs, pet sitter associations, business groups, and schools

Solicited as a biographical candidate for Who’s Who in America – 1990 and 1999

Member of the Humane Advisory Board of Connecticut 1992-1994

Author of education material for the Humane Society

Member of Guide Dog Users of Connecticut acting as an evaluator for potential guide dog candidates and consultant 1997 – 1999

Serves as a consultant for rehabilitation of rescue dogs for save-A-Stray of Glastonbury Connecticut 1992-present

Teaches dog training classes for the town of West Hartford and Bloomfield 1990-present

Handled and provided dogs and cats for commercial photography work for Ames Department Stores 1998-2002

Acts as a consultant for lawyers and insurance companies

Superior Court expert witness New Haven Connecticut 1991

Recommended by many veterinarians in the greater Hartford area

Presently featured on WTIC’s 1080 AM call in radio show “Pet Talk” Saturdays at 2PM

Consultant to Connecticut Bulldog Rescue 2001-present

Accepted as a professional member of The International Association of Canine Professionals 2002

Owner of Pet Boundary Systems LLC, distributor of Contain-A-Pet underground fence systems for pets

Approved American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizenship evaluator 2005
